I’ve been doing a lot of work lately on my marketing plan for my coaching practice, figuring out what my niche is, who my clients are, what my message is, etc. Now you might think I’d have this figured out already, but I find that starting a business is an organic process. You go through a lot of changes in the initial period as you start to figure out what you’re really doing.
Something I came up with is live your life. But what does live your life mean?
When I thinking about living life, I think about doing activities that nourish you and give you a sense of belonging and purpose. I think about a life filled with abundance of friends, family, wealth, ahobbies, and knowing you’re giving as well getting.
But is that what everyone thinks of or wants? There’s no guarantee on that and I realize as I continue to refine my business and what it is I’m doing that being able to understand not only what I want from this business but more importantly what my clients want is really important to creating a successful market for myself. I learned that lesson as a small press publisher and I’m learning it again as a life coach.
