Chris Brogan posted an intriguing exercise people can do for 2010. I decided I’d post my responses to his exercise on my blog. See below for my 3 words for 2010.
Goal word: Speaker
Path 1 to the goal: Book more speaking opportunities
Path 2 to the goal: Develop a keynote that can be customized to audiences
Path 3 to the goal: make time for activities and make them FUN
Distractions: making excuses, spending too much time on minor details or other projects
Steps to the path: Determine who needs my expertise, continue working on my keynote with NSA
The finish line: 2-3 paid speaking gigs a month and consistently being contacted for other speaking gigs.
